Default Do You Ever Have To Count Your Fingers

Occaisionally I start to do a deal with someone and the alarm bells ring.
They tell me to count my fingers if I deal with this person.

Got one like it on ebay at the moment so I'm just going to abandon the purchase as I seriously mistrust the vendor

bugga- I might lose me 100% rep.

Having worked within the property industry on the Gold Coast for many, many years, I have to say my digits feel positively warm and comfortable when in close proximity to spinning blades and whirring machinery!

    Cheers,

Already missing 2/3rds of a finger.
Know what you mean, sometimes it is best to get out.

I had a similar experience some years ago, the seller seemed to be taking extraordinary lengths to cover his tracks & I was sure he was up to no good. I thought he was going to do a runner with my money.
I won the auction for some software at a ridiculous $11 & it did turn up but once I had it I realised that it had been stolen from a Tech College.

Don't know if you guys have seen this one but I love it. Its the P-P-Powerbook scam, have a read and move through the parts. Pretty funny, there is some swearing in the text so you have been warned.

    I love it.

For those not overly sensitive, check out

where the same sort of strategy is used against the Nigerian 419 scammers.

It does contain r-rated language (ie worse than just swearing), so be warned.

    G'day Corbs,

I just spent the last 1/4 hour reading through the P/Book scam and what a beauty.

Echidna, if you think the guys out to rip you off, then bugger the 100% rep points with eBay.
I make things, I just take a long time.
