    Default Need black stain?

The speaker cabinets below where just a quick little project made from odd ply sheets that do not match. I’m thinking of dyeing them black to “loose” the difference and wack a few coats of poly over the top.

What would you recommend as a dye/stain that’ll give me a black base but leave a bit of grain visible.?
