Default This stuff okay for water pipe?

Running drinking water out to the shed.

Planning to use this stuff: Vinidex 20mm x 50m PE100 Poly Pipe

    from Bunnings.

That okay? No problems with it? I have a little difficulty tracking down fittings - I don't find a page full of a wide range.

But it seems they're there alright though they seem a little steep in price perhaps.

Seems they can be compression joins or maybe glue joins, I'm not sure.

Point is would this be a sensible way to go ? And I'll be able to hook into the water line at one end and sink tap at the other without too much trouble/expense?

    Thanks for that.

Didn't know about them. I've emailed them regarding delivery costs.

'compression fitting aer...' ? Bit confused by that.

They do (or did) have an agent in SA at one stage - not sure about now.

Anyway you won't be getting much across the Nullarbor at this stage with floss breaking roads etc.

A lot of roads and rail lines have been damaged by extremely heavy rains.
Rail lines damaged = no trains. Goods will need to travel by road if drivers are available. Roads damaged = roads closed, no trucks travelling. Goods will need to go by rail! Not everything can go by air.

The gubernmint has a plan. . . . . the roads across the nullabor are deemed OK, Train to Port Pirie, Triple trailer trucks across the Nullabor to Kalgoorlie, and train to Perth.
The problem is not roads or trucks its drivers and the WA borders.
Looking fwd to thinks taking about 3 times longer than usual.

Well I'll pull my head out of the sand. I didn't know. I'm so disgusted by it that I don't look at MSM at all. So I miss some things I guess. I suppose I should at least consult one news feed on the web just to keep in touch...

I'm bit of a news junkie, read various news feeds on the puter and mobile. I listen to ABC news radio on and off during the day. In the evenings I watch the ABC news channel and sometime the local news services. Every few days I get depressed and vow to turn it all off but that only lasts about day and then it all creeps back in again. Every few days SNMBO used to say "have you heard about. . . . . " and I almost aways answer yes. She's almost stopped asking me this now.
