Home made hammer
Hi All
Well after a few attempts I finishes my what I am calling my tap-tap hammer!
A 3/4 inch brass pipe fitting buffed and then a handle some heads and a good dollop of epoxy.
We have a hammer!
I used some offcuts from my bench project and the wood turned out really nice! I might glue some leather pads to the faces to proyect work.
Good for tapping joints together!

Nice work Milo!
An even softer alternative is to use a leather roll like this.

Hi Bob
Great idea, I might look at something like that!
Its the first time I have really used spoke shaves before and I really enjoyed the experience using them.
I have an even bigger brass T joint that I am going to make another for more serious bashing!!!

Milo And Bob.
That's a great idea. The brass T piece and a few corks. One more thing I can add to my hand made tools.

I like it
The brass would add some good weight to it but you could even put some lead shot in the head to give it a little more heft as well
Going into Masters for a look tomorrow, may check out the plumbing aisleIt's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
