Talking Hi - looking forward to learning from this forum

Hi all - I am slowly learning how to make use of my recently acquired woodworking equipment and it occurred to me that often times the best advice comes from people who have travelled this road before. There are so many wonderful things which can be made and the sense of accomplishment one feels when a project goes from concept through to successful completion is without parallel.

I'm located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and I'm still trying to work out the best source for timber for my projects. I'm currently working of building a mobile workshop work table for clamping and storage - similar to the one featured in the current (April 2011) issue of Australian Woodsmith magazine. It would seem to offer so many advantages - additional storage for tools - both in drawers and the pegboard side storage compartments as well as the heavy duty table top which can act as a clamping and assembly table.

I hope to meet many of you online through the forums and I look forward to the multitude of experience and knowledge gleaned from our collective experiences. It's good to be part of the forum. Cheers - Tim
