    Default Thicknesser/Planner anyone?

I have two pieces of Northern Queensland Silky Oak which I bought from the Working with Wood Show a couple of years ago. It is rough cut at about 400x25x2400 and 400x25x1000.
Does anyone know where I can get someone to plane it down to 12mm. I know it seems like a waste and I don't need all of it doing just enough for three small coffee tables.
I live at Ormeau and would appreciate contacts of people who can do this sort of thing.
    Cheers

HI, there should be plenty of places nearish to you which could thickness that for you.
Sorry I can't name any though.
Ouur thicknesser can only manage 12", but if worst came to worst, we could plane your boards down on the CNC router.

Having said that, you could possibly make up a cradle & jig, and rout it down yourself- tedious, but it keeps it all in-house, if that's important.
