A Busy Sunday !
Hi guys, just a few pictures to show off a busy Sunday !
The MDF being routed is for Skirting boards (23 cm tall).
The nextl picture is the image of happiness - a bucket of MDF ...
The dresser is being lovingly restored by Karen. This is a light stain on blackwood, with the first polyurathane coat.
The Cedar door has had to had new beading made, and is greatly improved. The beading was made in 3 passes on the router.

Great work !
BTW do you have any info on what router bit you used for the skirting boards - they look great. I am guessing you are making several sections out of a sheet of MDF and then ripping sheet after you have router it.
Cheers

Router Bit
We used a special bit from Carb a tech - cost about $110 ...
It was done in a single pass. The sheet came as 3600x1200mm, ripped it into 5 230mm lengths and then hit the router table !
I've posted a little (very yucky compressed) video of the action, and some pictures.

Hi Spreyton
We made our own skirting too - but for a new house - because we couldn't find a tall skirt without all the detail. It was pretty painfull, but very cheap (bit plus four sheets MDF and some breathing masks).
They paint up well, but need quite a bit of sanding smooth after the primer coat.
Cheers
