    Default Melbourne tile supplier

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a tile supplier in Melbourne, preferrably in the northern suburbs? I need both wall and floor tiles. I thought if someone here had already shopped around, it would save me some time.

    thanks

Hey Pixie and welcome to the forum! You will find a wealth of info and opinion here that will keep you happy. To your particular question - I guess there is such a vast range of tiles available that it can be daunting to try and answer your question. Also, as there are literally hundreds of tile suppliers, knowing your exact suburb would help.....I can think of 7 in Coburg. There is a place on McIntyre Road Sunshine (or maybe Braybrook) that I have found extremely cheap and who has a huge range. I would avoid National Tiles as they seem to me to always be a lot dearer than alternatives. If near Coburg, the people at Beaumont Tiles in Sydney Road Brunswick are good too. if you're chasing stone for paving or benchtops, Australia Stone in Thomastown is a great place - bloody cheap and great people to deal with......hope this helps. Please let us all know what the precise nature of your project is and how old the home is etc. so people who can help, can let you know.

    Have fun
