Acme threaded rod for clamps, source required.
My google-fu has failed me. I'm looking for acme threaded rod and nuts to use in clamps. Something in the range of 8 to 12mm or imperial equivalent.
Regular threaded rod works but it isn't ideal.
I have seen the lead screws used in modern CNC equipment like 3D printers and the like but the nuts seem to be not ideal for my needs. But maybe I'm wrong and they will work fine.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

I have been using some of this lately. Pretty good stuff. 20mm with round nuts. I got it off eBay from China. I’m not sure if it was the same seller.
