Need Help: Dust Extractor Switch Conversion (Electrical Wiring)
Ok Guys, I need a little help. I got a new switch and backing plate from Carbatec for my 2hp dust extractor. Took the old NVR switch off the dust extractor:

This is the new switch, photo's show switch in clockwise rotation:

Which wires go where on the new switch. I'm still unsure even after watching Dave Stantons Youtube video: Dust extractor switch conversion remote control Dave Stanton easy woodworking - YouTube

I think stantons dusty is an old machine as some of the wiring colours have changed since then. Blue Wire – neutral wire replacing the old black wire. Brown Wire – live wire replacing the old red wire.

So after a little research & logic I managed to deduce which wires go where. Turned it on and blew up.
ONLY JOKING!. Everything works fine. Thanks for everyones help.
Here's my research notes:
The wire colour codes for Australia and which electricians follow are: Blue Wire – neutral wire replacing the old black wire. Brown Wire – live wire replacing the old red wire. Green or Yellow Wire – earth wire that contains green or yellow stripes.
The live wire is brown, the neutral is blue, and the earth is green and yellow in Australia.

Both actives on one side of the switch / Both Neutrals on other side of switch
COMING OFF THE PLUG ARE 3 WIRES:
Light Blue - - Connects to: SS Dark Blue (NEUTRAL) (Used to be Black)
Brown - Connected to thermal overload switch (ignore) (Dont touch)
Green & Yellow - This is Earth (ignore) (Dont touch)
COMING OFF THE THERMAL OVERLOAD SWITCH:
Red Wire - Connects to: SS Brown (ACTIVE)
COMING OFF MOTOR:
ACTIVE WIRES:
Dark Blue Wire - Connects to: SS L Blue (NEUTRAL) (Used to be Black)
Brown Wire - Connects to: SS Red (ACTIVE) (Used to be Red)
