Laying laminate flooring on external tiles
Hi All
I have a pontetial job laying laminate flooring over tiles in an enclosed balcony in a unit.
Given that there is not much tolerance for uneveness with the thin underlay that is normally used, I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I could do.
Apart from the grout gap problem, there is some uneveness of the floor. See the pics attached.
Can I use a thick underlay if there is such a thing? Or would I have to put some levelling compound?
Any advice much appreciated.
