Sorry for not giving a heads up but this was a great show. They tried to explain why 'The Samauri' took off in Australia. I could have told them- it was just so good!
A lovely finish to the program that i won't spoil for those who are waiting to see it on tape.
Worth a look if you were there watching it in the '60s.

Damn missed it, A highlight of my youth was seeing the live show at the Horden Pavilion. I have the DVD's all in nice little sets. The whole ambience of late medieval Japan is just so well captured. If anyone has taped it....

Watched the original show back in the 60's Kids running in streets jumping backwards hiding behind tree's dressed in black with sticks as swords. We were never in to violence back then.
Daughters BIL's father had something to do with the show the other night I didn't watch it LOML did. Beleive it can be seen again off SBS website.
