Default Help needed with Spotted Gum Outdoor Table finish..

    Hey everone,
I am in need of help with what product to use as a finish for my Spotty gum out door table,
I am somewhat impatient so I am after something that dries quickly so I can continue to use my table, over the Xmas break

Not really sure what you are trying to achieve but this is what I used a while back.

On an aluminium framed, kwila slatted bbq table, oils over the years darken the surface and need "regular" recoats until it reaches the yuk stage.

Thoroughly wash and strip the timber until it is clean - your choice of commercial wood/deck cleaner or use something like Napisan, let dry and the coat with Marine Penetrol. This product can be used on its own or as an additive to other products. I used it on its own.

Wiped on 3 coats and table has come up a treat. Satin finish, not sticky or transferring to anything that is left sitting on the surface as oil can do unless long time dried. Only downside I could see on some trial bits I did was if not wiped off then it could build up to a point where some bits could sit on the surface and look a little plasticy like poly u.
