Anyone else have forum DNS issues with telstra??

I often get met with an error when looking at this forum, both from telstra bigpond cable and with my 4g connection on the phone. However tapatalk has no issues. Decided to look into it further and it seem both the phone and cable supplied by telstra keep returning DNS errors. I decided to try using open DNS and the problem goes away.

Anyone seen this before. This is the only forum I have issues with. I did a DNS check and the forum is set up perfectly, so its seem the problem lies solely with telstra.

If you use googles DNS, it is faster and Non-Evil

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in your IP settings for primary and secondary DNS

I've been using google DNS for a couple of years. No Problems.

There ya go, in IT (a programmer though) and never knew about google DNS. I have always used open dns. Thanks for the tip.
