I have some Kwila hardwood screening that will be going up over my yet to be oiled Spotted Gum deck. The screening has about a 2.2M span and will have no gaps.
I understand becasue it is Kiln dried it will not shrink. But what is concerning me is how to deal with the weathering process.

What would I be best to do?

-Put it up, wet it, let it bleed oved the decking, then clean the lot up and Spa'n'Deck both the decking and the Screening at the same time?

-Put it up, try and catch the tanins some how using pipes resembing the old game mousetrap?

-Put it up, take it down as one peice and let it weather by itself for a few months, oil it and re-install it?

-Spa'n'Deck the decking first and just try my best from letting the screening bleed over dekcing too much?

Simple problem, but it's doing my head in right now.

Thanks.
