Hi all
Just joined up while searching for a picture of the lathe I have. My wife bought me this lathe, a Hafco WL-14 some years ago but I can not put the Perspex guard on. any advice? I am a cabinetmaker, but have never done any woodturning

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Albert".
There are a heap of members in Sydney and surrounding areas.....
Some of us have gathered at one of the forum members home at Katoomba about 4 times for a meet & greet.
The Sydney Wood Show is on next fortnight & the forum will have a stand, another opportunity to meet people..
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork..
Cheers crowie
PS - Hope to see you at the Sydney Wood Show at Homebush in a fortnight...

Also may I suggest you ask the woodturning lathe question in the woodturning section.....

Welcome to the forum.
I might suggest that you post your question in this part of the forum,

Not everyone in the wood turning takes a look in the welcome section of the forum.
