    Default Cedar Train - window flywire screen

    Made this for my Mum because she loves trains and wanted a new flywire screen for the lounge room window. Its Australian Cedar which is easy to carve. The main shape was fret sawn and the rest carved by hand

    Interesting job...I'm trying to visualise the rest of the flyscreen. I take it this is the top frieze, and the rest of the frame is in red cedar too.
    Anyway, great work. Cedar can be a sweet timber to carve into...
