How To Straighten Up Our Red Brazilian Jasmine

Hi,

As you will see from the images provided, that our jasmine plant has been growing very well but unfortunately leaning forwards. As you may see I have placed a bamboo stick in the soil and tied the plant to it but it still falls away.

Is there a better way to tie the plant to encourage it to grow straight up?, or is it even too top heavy and needs pruning back?.

Is that where it normally sits all the time. It may be too close to the wall and is trying to grow away from the wall cause it might be radiating to much heat.

I notice that it seems to be flowering more on one side. Try turning it 180 degrees or move further away from the wall.

DJ is spot on.
What you have (Mandevilla species) is a rainforest climber in it's native habitat. It climbs to the canopy and flowers in the sunlight.
If it must be that close to the wall, do as DJ suggests and turn it 180deg. from time to time.

Isn't it a climber? Most climbers cannot support their whole self anyway. You may need to provide something for it to climb on.
