Default 150mm OD 2-3mm wall metal tube?

Apart from the local scrapyard, has anyone had success locating a company willing to sell a short length of this for not mega-$$$? (VIC). I'm fitting a Shelix head to the planer/thicknesser and during disassembly, it would be a good time to do what I've been threatening to do for a while - weld a 150mm dust hood outlet onto it.

    Cheers, Mark

I have yet to tackle that problem but have you considered using 150 mm galv ducting as used for chimneys etc. I realize you can't (easily) weld that stuff but there may be other ways to attach the ducting to the thicknesser.

Just thinking my brother in law owns a fireplace store and the flew kits might be useful for various bits we do. Things like the tin plates that go on the ceiling, the pipes and various joins.
