    Default Milling some Camphor Laurel

Was going to mill this old fellow today, however, after it was unloaded into the mill, the truck driver didn't remember to pull the jib back in and took off ..yep,bent the end pipes, connecting rod,etc ...but,i cheered myself up no end, when i peeled some of the bark off ...fiddleback up and down the length of the (butt) log...only 1400mm long but max's out at 1200mm wide...at least i can dream whilst the lucas gets fixed ....MM

Could have been much worse,as the mill(motor) was about to fall to the ground, and had he driven any further, the support rails would have been twisted and wrecked as well ...a real bugger because the bloke is an absolute gentleman,he just had a brain fade..MM
