Hello! from North Dakota in the States or G'day mate! as you say Down-Under :-)
Hi I'm new to this forum stuff so bear with me. My interests lie mainly in sawmilling. I enjoy reading your forum on this topic. Your milling methods are the same or at least very similar to ours. The same only different in that you seem to have far more swing mills than we do in the US in proportion to bandsaw mills. Again hi from the other side of the planet where its winter but spring is just around the corner (The groundhog never saw his shadow)

Welcome to the forum.Bob
"If a man is after money, he's money mad; if he keeps it, he's a capitalist; if he spends it, he's a playboy; if he doesn't get it, he's a never-do-well; if he doesn't try to get it, he lacks ambition. If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

G'Day, Welcome "to the Great South Land" & to a top forum.
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP photos with build notes.
Enjoy the forum.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers from On Top DownUnder, crowie

If you deal with the lowest bidder it is well to add something for the risk you run.
And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better"
