Default PTC is not doing well

Just a word on Peter Crook PTC off this forum.

He hasn't been around for a while. He is not doing to well ATM and is now selling off all his gear Edited Peter is to have an MRI to discover reasons for his not moving about so well and his cancer knocking him about.

Peter is a Symtec lathe man and very proud of it.

But he assures me his 2 cube of Blackwood is safe and will keep him and Sue warm this winter.

Peter all our wishes are with you ATM hope its not a long cold winter (that way the Blackwood will be there to turn pens with) LOL.

We got to know Peter and his Sue through his Huskys he often sent Sue combings of fur so LOML could use it in her works.

Talking with Peter last night and he has cleared a few things up the cancer isn't his main problem right now his legs have his words "Gone to jelly" using a walking frame etc and struggling to get around. He is due to have scans done to find the cause.

Fxst he has this link and sure he reads it maybe he'll pop in

Its sad to see he is selling off his whole workshop trying to sell it all in one go whom ever buys it will have a good start to woodworking.

    No
I hope you mean he'll be selling some of it to buy electricity or gas and is not thinking of chucking it on the fire

If the fire, surely we can get together and get him a cube or two of "rejects" (remember Studley's reject packs?) and do a swap

I ordered 4 tonne of firewood yesterday.
I could fit a tonne or so of firewood in the van, how much does a cube of blackwood weigh?

Hmm, it's not THAT far to drive to ptc's place.

Ray, you can come down and pick it up from me, mates rates of course

I rarely did anything with blackwood other than burn it. Over-rated weed IMHO. Don't need a fire here so the weed stocks of Tassie are safe.
