    Default Opinions on Paint

    Hello All,

Is there any real difference between the "trade" quality versus "normal" quality where paint is concerned other than price?
I have been using a heap of sealer/undercoat on the internal walls and have found one of the trade versions to have better coverage and it is nearly $40 cheaper than the applicable normal variety.
Without mentioning any names most of the normal paint claim greater coverage ect but i cant really say that i can tell much difference between the 2.

To help pass what looks like being a boring day, i just thought that others might like to express their opinion or point of veiw.
    Cheers
    Steve

I think it would be safe to say that the only difference between trade and non trade paint would be the minimum quantity available.

Usually the smallest trade size available would be 4ltrs. In some cases it may be 10ltrs.

Apart from that the only change would be "cosmetic".. no fancy label on the tin
I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it
