New Guy
G'day everyone ! I was introduced to the forum by Big Shed . He invited me to participate in the International Pen Swap , and I am delited , he asked . To top it off , I was matched with him , to swap pens and blanks . He sent a pair of pens , both Cigars . One dressed in the bark of a Red Iron Bark with Satin Silver hardware , and the other , Satin Copper with Yellow Box . Both were beautifully finished with CA , sanded and buffed to an unbelievable gloss . These were in a very nice wooden box . I also received some Red Gum , Yellow Box , Gray Box , Yellow Gum Burl and the Red Iron Bark blanks . All beautiful timber . Thanks Fred ! I will post photos , when I find the proper location .
I am a retired railroad trackman , and have only been turning pens for about a year and a half . I very much , still enjoy it .
Great to be hear , in the forum , and am looking forward to more pen swapping .Charles T. Hutchings
