Taxation statistics 2008-09: 100 people
I acknowledge this may be of limited interest to others. I have a rather uncontrolled passion for data and get a tad excited over stuff like this. The reason I mention this page specifically is the data is presented in an easily understood form. Top marks to the ATO for that.
I know I'm a sick sick man, but I do enjoy trolling through government web sites looking for tasty tidbits...the Bureau of Stats is too much fun...I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.

Some nice headlines in there Damian.
25% of businesses run under a person's own name running at a loss.
Tax agents have just about got the whole business sewn up.
Pity we can't factor in GST.
Cheers,
Jim

25% pay no tax. I suppose a lot of those are kids working part time/studying full time ?
