Huon Pine Pedestal Table
Well I finally decided to make a piece of furniture.
This is all made from Huon Pine that I got from a guy on Gumtree. He had three of those birdseye/burl slices, equally as spectacular as this one, and he gave them to me for a steal because he was leaving the country.
Was exciting to use turning and boardwork to make a single piece. I feel like the base is nice but doesn't really do the top justice. Nonetheless, still happy with how it turned out. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.
Fletty: That's Organoil Hard Burnishing Oil. That was just one coat!! I hope to apply several more for added protection and lustre. It's a really great, easy to use product.
