    Default vintage Japanese campher plane

I found this interesting plane 6 months ago and im not shure of its age .It's double bladed and works realy well ounce set up properly. The plane itself fits snugly into the campher attachment to plane various sized camphers or can be used without it as a small block plane.Any info or comments appreciated.

    Thumbs up chamfer plane.

I dont know about the age of it, but when I purchased mine in Japan the shop keeper explained to me in rapid Japanese and then through a demo the the problem with most chanfer planes is that only the cetre of the blabe is used. With the Japanes plane you can slide the box section the holds the blade sideways to expose a fresh section of blade. Very handy little trick. Also a rub with wax on the two sold works well too.
