    Smile Last Names

The manager of a large office noticed a new man one day and told him to come
    into his office.

"What's your name?" he asked the new guy.

    "John," the new guy replied.

The manager scowled, "Look... I don't know what kind of a mamby-pamby place
you worked before, but I don't call anyone by their first name. It breeds
familiarity and that leads to a breakdown in authority. I refer to my
employees by their last name only... Smith, Jones, Baker... That's all. I
am to be referred to only as Mr. Robertson.

Now that we got that straight, what is your last name?"

The new guy sighed, "Darling. My name is John Darling."

"Okay John, the next thing I want to tell you is..."

John, I have noticed that you constantly make reference to your VISA and I am concerned that this may be detrimental to your well being. I do however have a remedy for your problem.

    Hi John
I too have noticed the regular Visa references. Wasn't life so much less complicated before plastic? Back in the days when an Aussie dollar was worth having in your pocket.
Keep doin your bit for the defecit.
    Cheers

Yeah back in those days ....if you wanted to make sure you were "cashed" up for your needs for the weekend you had to get to the bank by 3.00pm friday arvo.

Glory be to the plastic man who unknowingly created the cashless society!!

You can always use your chequeing acc of course but then again the banks are putting all sorts of fees in place to discourage a paper trail!!

Like any happily domesticated family I have my Visa card but she holds it.

    Cheers
