Scuba diver

The scuba diver went down to 5 metres, looked around
and saw a chap nearby - without scuba diving gear.

He then went down to 10 metres, and lo and behold,
here was the other chap near him again - without the gear.

He went down to 20 metres and sure enough there was
this other chap. So he pulled out his waterproof notepad
and waterproof slimline pen and wrote, "What are you
doing at this depth without scuba diving gear".

The other bloke quickly grabbed the notepad and pen
and wrote - "Drowning".
