    Default Melbourne Blacksmithing FGT

Dave TTC has suggested I hold a GTG regarding blacksmithing be it a demo session or a hands on have a crack intro.

So I'm putting it out there to see if there is actually any interest?

Are you guys interested in just seeing a demo of a something or a few things made or would you potentially like to have a go?

I could certainly swing a hammer for a tap or two...it'd give me more of an idea if I need to start ANOTHER hobby that would take up too much money and time I don't have (speaking of which, if my brain is working you'd be a sleepless new dad right about now - hope it's all going well)

Its something I am interested in but have decided not to take up due to space and time constraints. Well, nothing bigger than what you can do with a gas torch and little else. Anything bigger and I would outsource it.

Having said that, I would like to attend and learn more about it.

    Cheers

Thats five if we get about 8-10 I'll put something together as some usually can't make a date that the majority can.

Do you have a rough month in mind at all. I reckon simplicity might be in too

Haven't really had a chance to look at the calendar and plan it but I'm doing a number of events in the next weeks so it would probably be in the last half of June.

Would like to come down for the day if I can fit in into the schedule, things are a little uncertain at the mo, house build starting in abt 6 weeks, shed (big barn) going up at the same time then has to fitted out and occupied, her maj has just had the pre op clinic for a knee replacement, no date for the op yet but anticipated 2-6 weeks before and a fair amount of stay around required after. Once you set a date I should be able to say definitely yeah or neah about a month out.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.
