New Raptor welders
Got a facebook ad for a new range of welding machines called Raptors. Looked interesting so I clicked.
The Raptor
Looks like a few good deals available- honest price, good warranty, brick/morter store etc.
Little basic gasless welder 135A for $350,
160A mig for $550 - with spot and stitch timer too.
multiprocess for a shade over $600.
...and some bigger models too incl ACDC tigs and plasma.
I mainly participate in the welding side of things here and elsewhere, and I don't need any more welders (just ask my missus)... But one thing I know about this place is it seems everyone looks for a bargain machine with good support and some nice features.
Looking over their tech sheets for some of the smaller models, and seeing where they sell for, I reckon this might tick some boxes for some of you chaps for home use. They say they have a 2 year replacement warranty, so I guess at that price nothing to lose.
I get on well with my local welding shop, so might hustle them to get one plugged in and throw some sparks. Usually it's them hassling me to give one a whirl
