Default Saying Hi and looking for some information on bandsaws

Hi everyone, new to the site and in a dilemma. In the process of purchasing a band saw, tossing up between Carbatec, Metabo, Hafco or Oltre. Also debating between 10 or 14in, the budget is around $600, if anyone could provide some first hand information it would be appreciated as I think I've read too much.. Thanks

G'Day & Welcome to a top forum "Wayne".
There are a good number of members in Perth and surrounding areas.....
You'll find a heap of helpful & knowledgeable blokes & ladies on the forum and for most very willing to assist.
Make sure you show off your handiwork as everyone loves a photo, especially WIP [Work In Progress] photos with build notes.
May I suggest that you ask the specific questions on the bandsaw in the "bandsaw subsection" and maybe general section so you can get a wider audience to both view and answer the questions better....
    Enjoy the forum.
    Enjoy your woodwork....
    Cheers crowie

    Welcome to the forum.

I might suggest that you post that question in this part of the forum. https://www.woodworkforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27

From my perspective I have a 14inch bandsaw, which also happened to be the first one ever purchased and sometimes I wished that I had gotten a bigger bandsaw. This size handles most of what I need to do.
