    Default Problems?

My computer has locked up every time I visited WW forums this past few days. Anyone else having that problem? Ron.

Sounds like a similar problem that another member was having.

Take a look here to see if this will assist/resolve your issue.

Hi Ron - Here's the same response I gave to Rod in the link mentioned in Christos's post above.

Here's a couple of the quick fixes for this problem in the past.

    1. If you are using any version of Internet Explorer give it the flick and try using Firefox or Google Chrome.
    2. Make sure you log in with this url https://www.woodworkforums.com and not with a saved link.
    3. If that doesn't fix it you need to let me know the following:

    • Browser
    • Computer type (IBM, iThing, Android, tablet, etc)
    • If Microsoft what version (XP, windows 7, 8, 10 etc)
    • Any new updates to programs, including automated ones for windows, browser etc.
    • Anything else you may think has happened in the last few days to bring this on.

It most likely isn't a problem with the forums but something at your end. Run a full system scan for viruses, malware, spyware, etc. and if you still have a problem please let me know in this thread.

    Cheers - Neil

PS If you are using something with an i at the front of it's name (ithings.... pad, phone, etc) it may be because of an automatic upgrade to it's isystem which appears to have affected at least a couple of other users. Doesn't appear to be a problem with with proper type computers or PC users.
