Default I have a problem with my browser

I logged out yesterday (which I haven't done for ages) and deleted all my cookies from Explorer. When I tried to log back in this morning, the "thankyou for logging in mic-d" message appeared, but the forums loaded as if I wasn't logged in. I checked that the cookies were being recieved OK and these are the ones I have
bblastactivity, bblastvisit, bbpassword and bbuserid. Does that sound right? I'm using Safari ATM, but the problem with it is when PM's are deleted, shortly after I'm prompted that I have a new PM, which is in fact the old one:confused:

    Any ideas anyone?

    Cheers
    Michael

I know nothing about Safari but when you logged into the forum did you remember to click the "remember me" box?

    Michael,

Do yourself a favour and forget Explorer!

As for Safari, do you use tabs? I've found the most convenient way of browsing these forums is to open each new thread in a new tab, then get to them when I have time.

This means that the browser windows are opened well before I get to my PM's so it doesn't know I've already got the message (but I don't usually get multiple notifications). If the pop-up notification box bugs you, you can turn it off in your User CP Options.

Or... you could try using Firefox!

    Cheers,

    P
