Finishing my Wakeskate
Hoping I can get some help with this.
I have painted the raw ply with gloss enamel paint and I am now trying to seal it with bondall monocel gold i am now on my 3rd coat and i am still having the same issue. The center section of the board (flat) come up with a great gloss which has a few brush marks but I am happy with the finish. The ends which are angled are the issue, the layers below appear to have bubbled under my previous coat. I have sanded between every coat with an orbital sander with 180 or 240 grit pads.
I am really not sure what to do and would prefer not to have to sand it back and start again, given the time it has taken me so far (24 hours between coats).

I thought I would let everyone know I have 'fixed' this. I believe it was caused from not allowing the previous coats enough time to dry before sanding and recoating. I have sanded the affected areas and left out in the sun for a few days. So far have applied 2 coats since sandind and having no issues, finger crossed.
