    Thumbs up Congratulations zymurgy

I think congratulations are in order for Gordon (zymurgy) for having his excellent dining table and chairs shown in the latest issue (#42) of Australian Wood Review (p48). For those not familiar with the project there are photographs here. Gordon you should feel extremely proud that your work is seen in such a high caliber as some of the others in the competition. It is also pleasing to read through the magazine and see contributions from members of this board.

    Well done.

    Stinky.

    Great stuff, Gordon.

I was very impressed when I opened the mag this week and saw your table and chairs in all their glory. Congratulations.

    Gordon,
    A very elegant dining set!

I wonder what method you used to cut the 144 mortices in the set of chairs? It struck me that my morticing jig, see

would have made short work of them.

I must buy the magazine, as I haven't viewed it yet!

I used the tablesaw for tenons and a forstner bit and a chisel for mortices.

    Gordon.
