    With the demise of Australian Furniture Timbers in Port Melb I was looking for a new supplier found a good one in Vermont, Mathews Timber has a great range. One of the staff(thanks Neal) looked after me real well.
    Not as extensive range of exotics as AFT but I was able to get what I needed and they were prepared to move quite a few stacks to get to do so.
    I was impressed with the service and thought I would share.
    Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
    bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

    Just a point, Fubar. If the guy who helped you was balding with a white mustache, it was probably Ian Neil, the senior Yardsman. Great guy. Look out for Damian as well.
