Source of mushroom emergency stop button
Wonder if anyone can help.
Spent an hour on the web searching but no luck. I know I've seen them somewhere
Needs to be
* large mushroom to go on the floor if nec.
* enclosed box
* 240v wired with socket and plug would be nice (to interrupt the flow of power to the machine at the extension lead side).Cheers, Ern

G'day Ern,
Is this the sort of thing you are looking for?
I used one of these thingos so I can turn on my dusty from inside with the dusty being outside enclosed in its own shed. Pulls out to turn on, stomp on it to turn off.
If you specifically want a socket and plug on it, then PWS have them, at about $100 a pop.

Yep Waldo ... close. Bigger mushroom though, to hit with the foot. Think they're around at about 60mm wide but I'll live with smaller.
Where'd you get it from? Sparky supplies place?Cheers, Ern

M22-PVS/KC11/IY looks pretty much what I have, but for a lot less pessos.
So, either FAK-R/V/KC01/IY or FAK-R/V/KC11/IY is more what you are after. The neighbour always pops his head over the fence every night as I shut up the shed about 12:00 or so for a chin wag, I'll ask then.

Hi rsser,
Go to NHP who are in Richmond, they have what you are looking for.
If you do want to wire the foot switch up as an Emergency Stop Control then wire the circuit so you need to rest the circuit when you release the foot switch, this will be in keeping with AS3000 Wiring Rules and Machine Safety Standards.
Regards,
Keith.

Timbecon have a pre wired safety switch but it's not the mushroom type, more the paddle type. $58 plus postage. They were about $30 last time I looked, price rises astound me this year.

Nice and cheap but you'll have to buy a box and wire it up.I'm just a startled bunny in the headlights of life. L.J. Young.

Thanks guys. I'll get on the dog and bone tomorrow.
Keith, I don't understand this: "wire the circuit so you need to rest the circuit when you release the foot switch" but I'll ask the retailer. Seems like emergency stop switches come in at least a couple of types.Cheers, Ern
