Google earth
This is a fantastic collection of satellite photos. I have been able to view photos down to house and street level in cities all around the world. Yes, I can even see my own house (images from about 12 month ago).

On the shot of my place, you can actually see my son's car parked in the street outside! Quite amazing!
However, when I had a look at a couple of addresses of rellies in the UK, the resolution was nowhere near as good as it was for Australia and the US.Driver of the Forums

seems to be hi-res only for the major cities. I did notice that the *entire* state of Massachusetts was high-res.

Theres even some freeware you can download that automatically removes the watermark blends the pixels back in.
Not that any consultancies such as orus would do such a thing!Cheers,

Try some of the major US landmarks.
i.e the Grand canyon
Newyork (World Trade Centre is interesting) They seem to have added some additional layers to the photos. You can actually travel between buildings.
In Australia,

Brucknell Scout Camp (all bush) is located at

Elev 267 ft
The creek through the eastern section can be seen.
About 1km south of brucknell on the east boundary of the creek is an opencut limestone pit.

You guys are quick!!!
This really is a big time waster. Just had a look at some areas in Canada that I visited many years ago. Some of the photos are in summer and some in winter. This is quite interesting because you can see how significantly things change i.e partly frozen lake. Much the same as many areas in Australia were photographed during the drought giving large browns pics next to lush green ones.Specializing in O positive timber stains
