Bay window
Looking at putting a timber (painted) bay window in my house and have been trying to get quotes. In my area the only way they want to do that sort of window is by using three standard windows. I was looking at casement style windows. Does this means that I would need three openings for the windows? Is it possible to just remove the reveal sides from the windows that would touch each other and cutting a section to fill and join the windows? Is it easy to remove timber reveals from a window?
I can get kit windows from a bunch of people in Sydney who are woodworkers and I assume that the windows are broken down into kits with the reveals in bits. Has anyone built the kit windows that they supply? The have yet to answer my query.
thanks
