Window and Door Height
Just planning some windows and doors for our house raise and build under. A lot of umming and arghing going on right now.
Windows and external doors upstairs have a head height of 2100 and ceilings are 3000.
Downstairs we plan to have 2700 ceilings. Is it best to stick with same head height of windows and doors throughout the house or is it common to mix heights?
We are thinking of a 2400 x 4400 sliding door downstairs from kitchen/family room onto covered back patio. Hoping it let's in more light but doesn't look out of place compared to rest of house. Also know that glass doesn't insulate as well as a wall so need to consider that.
