Default WOODWORKING QUIZ for 19 Nov 04

    Good Mornming Friends,
When drilling for adjustable shelving what is a good method for spacing the holes and keeping them in line?

I use an offcut of pegboard with the holes I don't use taped over in case I drill them by mistake. Put an arrow on one end so you know which way is up and always align the arrow to the same end of the cabinet. Clamp it to the side and drill away. Put a depth stop or a bit of tape on the drill bit so you don't drill too shallow or too deep.

    Good Evening silent C,
You and I must have been cut from the same mold as this is what I do as well.

However I am attaching a new jig that would work in tight spots.

    Respectfully,
