Fibre cement roof sheeting for a barn

Builder has suggested briarwood profile 6 fibre cement roof sheeting, talked to a local farmer who seems to think that might not last too well and I should go for something like marley eternite. I dropped a sample of briarwood and thought it was brittle but maybe they all are?? Any suggestions/advice would be really appreciated.
