Note to self.
When finished scribing a circle on a block of wood, do NOT drop the dividers point first on to the air hose.
What is that hissssssssssssing sound.:eek:
Duh!...
Wanted one new hose.
Least I will get a better hose than that thin curly plastic thing.

And those curly air hoses need to be shot with a ball of ones own s..t, they are the most useless creation I have ever encountered, as you have obviously found out

Please explain. As someone used to say.
I managed to make a small hole about a metre from the outlet end.
Went out and bought a 30 metre proper hose and some fittings.
Wait till the wife finds the expense on the card account.
Any one got plans for a doghouse.

Duh! Me a bit slow.
I thought you had an idea and needed a curly air line to be split somehow.
Was thinking of how to send it to you.
I have tried some hot glue but don't tell the wife.
Need the excuse for the new hose.

For safety's sake, ditch the damaged hose.

New hose is better, but for a few dollars you can buy a air hose joiner kit from Bunnings. Originally Posted by DavidG

I went a slightly different route... I bought some decent hose and ran it along all my DC ducting, with tees at the wyes & outlets somewhere near the gates.
Still use my curlies on the tool end, mainly 'cos they're easier to carry from outlet to outlet. A few extra pennies, but I reckon it's worth it... no more tripping over trailing hoses!
