Scamander
I haven't been here for to long but I've started taking some shots of the area around Scamander.
It's on the east coast of Tasmania about 20 Kilometres from St. Helens.
The coastline here isn't as dramatic as The Bay Of Fires which is 40 kilometres north of here.
But it's still quite wonderful!.
The two shots below are just down the road from my place on the road to Bicheno.
I think one of things that makes Tassie so special is the scenery is fantastic wherever you turn.
The picture of the old house is right behind the beach shots.
Here's a Blue Wren and his mate taken back at home in the evening.
Tassie "SWEET"
Cheers
Trev.

A good spot
Looks like you have found a bit of paradise that will suit you just fine. Actually, anywhere in Tasmania would be pretty good, it is a lovely place to visit, but choosing which bit to settle down in would be very difficult, too many choices!
Thanks for the photos, I will get down there again in the next year or two.
Have fun,
Alan...

They are a beautiful little bird I have to agree!
Here's another one.
The folks next door have a chicken run this bloke turns up once or twice a day "Just on the off chance".
Talk about a "Are You Looking At Me" attitude!
And this is Tayne's new mate Flopsy.
He comes over from the lagoon morning and night.
I've got say Peter I love it down here.
And as you said it's so not Mildura.
Cheers mate
