Default Cheap ute hire in Sydney

I'm looking at hiring a ute for a day and was wondering if anybody knows of any cheap places to hire from in Sydney?

The last few times I've hired a ute there seems to be the standard KM's included (usually around 20-30km), then $0.20 - $0.30 a KM after that plus refuelling of the ute after. I need to pick up from Mascot, St Marys and then my final destination in the Lower Blue Mountains.

    Any help would be great.

    Cheers,

    Andy

In Melb, Bunnings have hire utes (Mazda 2 door, tow bar, ali tray, removable carry bars over front bumper and rear of tray and fixed at front of tray), available by the day or hour. Used one last year to collect a batch of 4.2H pallet racking. I had it for 3hrs and it came to about $80 for rental, insurance excess waiver and diesel for a 90Km round trip. Would have cost similar to hire a car trailer with similar length capacity, and then I would have to borrow a towcar and probably a driver used to hauling long wide trailer. Booked it day before, picked it up within 5min of arriving, and deposit returned within 5 min of return.

Don't know about Sydney, but i suspect that they would have something similar.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

    Hey mate,

I don't think so. I need to pick up my new lounge and likely my new fridge. Then I'll need to pick up some insulation from St Mary's.

    Thanks anyway

They also have small pantecs that only need a car license, going by what your picking up, it may be a better proposition, quite reasonable rates as well, talk to Neil and tell him Ray sent you
