Hi my name is Daniel, and im from the eastern subs of melbourne.

I am new to wood turning, and was looking for some like minded people to bounce idea's off and draw inspiration from.

Look forward to discussing things with you all

    Hi Daniel,

The very best advice I can give you is to find the nearest woodworker club and Join it. There are bound to be lots of turners and lathes there, and they just love to help out with advice and skills.
I started out on my own, and although I did OK for a novice, my skills didn't really get better until I joined a club. And they also do scroll sawing, carving, futrniture making , general wood working skills, and lots more, and its fun...
