leaking corrugated water tank
I moved a round corrugated water tank approx 4m x 2m and in the process managed to open up one of the floor joins. :C it looks like it was soldered or something there isn't a lot of overlap between the floor sheets, probably 3mm or so.
I got inside and ran sikaflex over the join but it only holds 2 inches of water and leaks out somewhere, guess my sikaflex job wasn't the best, I didn't think it would work due to the tank sitting on a sand base I thought if there's any movement in the floor once it fills up and gets heavy the sikaflex is just going to open up.
Whats the best way to fix this once and for all? A guy at work suggested buying 15 bags of premix concrete and opening them up in side the tank and raking it level and then hosing it with the garden hose?
