hello all
my name is eric from sydney, i love playing wind instruments and classical /flamenco guitar. iam planning to convert my carport into a wood workshop to build classical guitars and also anything with wood may be building my son a playhouse. the first thing i will need is to build a nice work bench and cabinets for the workshop , before all these i need to buy all the equipments , materials and tools from scratch, i have a bit of carpentry experience during my old day in school though

G'Day & welcome Eric to a top forum.
I'm a toy maker not guitar maker but I often see others making them.
If you do a seach you'll find a few beaut "homemade" work benchs";
I only have a very simple cheapy made from 2 secondhand solid core doors.
Enjoy your woodwork.
Cheers, Crowie

Welcome to the forum. I agree building a work bench is a good start. Getting all the tools in one go not too sure, get what you need when the project arises.

Welcome to the forum Eric.
Good luck in building your workshop and bench. This would be a good starting point for your woodwork skills. A bench is a good project to get the tools you need to build the bench. Then start to buy tools you need for the next project.Success is getting what you want.
