Wipe on Poly
I have been suggested to use a wipe on poly, the brand is Minwax. I have found some old posts back in 04 and 06 but is there anything new on where to get this product or something similar.
Cheers

Yep, Bunnings carry it in stock. Gold can is the high gloss and silver can is the low sheen/satin finish. I use the high gloss.
Reality is no background music.

Hi Harvey!
Wipe on poly is nothing more then thinned poly warnish. If you can not buy Minwax wipe on poly you can try to make it youself. Mix 50% oil Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane and 50% mineral spirit and use this mixture like regular wipe on poly. This recipe is described in Bob Flexner's book "Understanding Wood Finishing" and Marc Spagnuolo ("The Woodwhisperer") have a DVD with this method A Simple Varnish Finish DVD - $19.99 : The Wood Whisperer Store
I used this method many times and I like it.
Best regards
Dmitry
